ID8 Receives Denver Mayor's Design Awards, 2024
Boulevard One at Lowry received 2024 Mayor's Design Awards, “Building Well, Living Well” from Denver’s Mayor Mike Johnston.
Ideate Design’s collaboration with Design Workshop on the masterplan and design guidelines for the Lowry Redevelopment Authority at Boulevard One has added to the fabric of neighborhoods by honoring Denver’s history and integrating the evolution of urban design to address today’s community needs..
Boulevard One is the final segment of the Lowry Air Force Base redevelopment, a 20-year evolution with the completion of a neighborhood landscape that celebrates community and adds to the network of open spaces that make Denver's neighborhoods special.
The Mayor's Design Awards honor bold, creative projects throughout the city for excellence in design, architecture, and place-making. The awards are intended to encourage investment in thoughtful, sustainable development than addresses the needs and challenges of a modern city, improves the public realm, transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary, and encourages community connection with a nod to the past and an eye to the future.
