K2Y appointed by Governor's Office to CWDC
Kevin Kazuhiro Yoshida is appointed by the Office of Governor Polis to the Colorado Workforce Development Council for a 3-year term.
The Colorado Workforce Development Council (CDWC) consists of representatives of the business community and state agencies. The CWDC in consultation with the business community and state agencies advises the Governor on matters regarding the employment and training needs of the state and on workforce development plans and strategy.
The vision of the Colorado Workforce Development Council is that every Colorado business has access to a skilled workforce and every Coloradan has access to meaningful employment, resulting in statewide economic vitality.
The CWDC’s mission is to facilitate the creation and sustainability of a business‐led Colorado talent development network that appropriately integrates the work of economic development, education, training, and workforce development to meet the needs of businesses, workers, job seekers, and students.
